“I will always cherish the time we shared, from the birth of One Direction fifteen years ago to just a few weeks ago,” Nicole wrote in the caption.

She expressed her gratitude for their recent collaboration, highlighting their mutual love and passion for music. “I will forever remember our meaningful and joyful conversations,” she added.

Struggling with the loss, Nicole shared her difficulty in processing Liam’s passing. “It’s been so hard to accept that you’re no longer here, but I am thankful to have known your kind heart, sweet soul, and character,” she said.

“You brought so much joy, light, and laughter to the lives of those who truly knew you. I will miss you, my friend, and carry you in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.”

Nicole played a pivotal role in the formation of One Direction, having suggested Liam to her fellow judges on “The X Factor.”

Liam’s death was announced on October 17, following a fall from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was 31 years old. An autopsy revealed he suffered 25 injuries, including a severe head injury, and police indicated that he was alone at the time of the incident, with signs pointing to an episode related to alleged substance abuse.

One Direction released a statement expressing their devastation over Liam’s death, with members Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan also sharing personal tributes.

Fellow artists, including Charlie Puth, Zedd, and Paris Hilton, also shared their condolences.

One Direction had a memorable two-night concert in Manila in 2015 and is known for hit songs like “Night Changes,” “What Makes You Beautiful,” and “Story of My Life.” After the band went on an indefinite hiatus in 2016, Liam pursued a solo career, releasing popular tracks such as “Strip That Down” featuring Quavo, “For You” featuring Rita Ora, and “Bedroom Floor.” His most recent single, “Teardrops,” was released in March.
